Devaraj has been in practice since 1976 and Specializes on Income Tax, Transfer Pricing and Service Tax areas.

He is a visiting faculty member at the Direct Taxes Training Institute of the Income Tax Department, Bangalore. He was the taxation committee member of FKCCI and GMCI. He was the member of the study group formed to prepare the approach paper on the “Transfer Pricing Guidance Note” published by the ICAI, and is the faculty member at the Bangalore Branch of SIRC of ICAI on Income Tax and Communication Skills.

He has presented a number of papers in various journals and conferences and is a regular speaker in national and regional seminars.

A rank holder in Chartered Accountancy examinations, Unni entered practice subsequent to a stint in the industry as Finance Controller of a reputed company. He is one of the founding partners of SDU.

He is a member of the Institute of Management Consultants of India and specializes in Audit and assurance services, Accounting and Business Consulting areas.

Venkataramani is a partner since 1989 and he specializes in Commercial Taxes.

He is a member of the Taxation Committee of the FKCCI and a co-opted member of the Taxation Committee of GMCI. He is a member on the panel of the Karnataka State Taxes help-line service set up by FKCCI and is an Executive Committee member of the Karnataka State Chartered Accountants Association. He is also a member of the Fiscal Laws Committee – Indirect Taxes of the SIRC of ICAI. He has presented a number of papers in various journals and conferences and is a regular speaker in national and regional seminars.

Apart from being a Chartered Accountant, Ranganath is also a qualified lawyer and has been with SDU since its formation. He specializes in Income Tax representation and litigation matters.

Ramarao worked for an Information Technology company and for a reputed Accounting firm as the Manager for their Bangalore branch before joining SDU. He specializes in Audit, Internal Control, Business processes, and Information Systems consulting. 

He is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and is one of the founder members of the Bangalore Chapter of Information Systems, Audit & Control Association (ISACA). He was the President of the Bangalore Chapter of the Institute of Internal Auditors.

Parthasarathy had a stint with a reputed company in the financial services sector before joining SDU. He specializes in Audit, Banking and financial services areas. He is also a qualified Information Systems Auditor (DISA).

Naveen specializes in Commercial Taxes and Service Tax.

He is a faculty member at the Bangalore Branch of SIRC of ICAI on VAT, CST and Service Tax.  He has presented a number of papers at different forums.  He is member of the Taxation Committee of the FKCCI.

Vinay Lal, a Chartered Accountant, has been with SDU since 2001.  He is part of the audit and advisory services and the consultancy division of SDU.  He specializes in risk management with a special focus to the real estate industries.

F.R. Singhvi is an advisor to the firm.

A rank holder in graduation and Chartered Accountancy examinations, he is one of the founding partners of SDU. He specializes in Commercial Tax Laws, ie. , Sales Tax, Works Contract Tax, Entry Tax, Profession Tax, Entertainment Tax, etc. of many States in India. He also provides management consulting services to the automotive component industries.

Singhvi was the Chairman of the State Taxes Committee of the Federation of the Karnataka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FKCCI). He was a member of the Taxation Committee of Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) and ASSOCHAM. He is currently the Chairman of Taxation Committee of the Greater Mysore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GMCI). He is a member of the All India Tax Practitioners Federation. He was in the task force set up for Value Added Tax (VAT) implementation in the state of Karnataka. He has presented a number of papers in various journals and conferences and is a regular speaker in national and regional seminars.
